Cellfina -Single Treatment Solution to get rid of Cellulite

Cellfina is FDA cleared to last up to 3 years!

This is the only FDA-cleared minimally invasive procedure clinically proven to improve the appearance of cellulite (DIMPLES) for at least three years—the longest FDA-cleared duration for a cellulite treatment. Available at Finger & Associates and offered by our board-certified Plastic Surgeon, Dr. Finger performs Cellfina to treat the primary structural cause of cellulite (dimples) for a smooth and healthy look that gives YOU the confidence to wear a bathing suit and higher hemlines. Of course, Cellfina is limited to a specific area of the body. Talk to Dr. Finger about whether Cellfina is right for you! Dr. Finger will first determine if you are a candidate by evaluating the skin’s integrity and the severity of the cellulite. In cases of extreme skin laxity, Cellfina may not be ideal.

What areas can be effectively treated for Cellulite?

The Cellfina System treats the primary structural cause of cellulite ON THE BUTTOCKS AND UPPER THIGHS—the connective bands woven throughout fat in the thighs and buttocks. These tight bands pull down the skin, creating the puckering you see on the surface of the skin. Similar to a rubber band under tension, once released, the treated skin bounces back to smooth itself out in as little as three days.

How does Cellfina work on Cellulite? Can you get rid of Cellulite?

Cellfina’s technology is based on a procedure called subcision. This technology can also treat scars and wrinkles. The technology uses a device the size of a needle to treat the connective bands just under your skin. The procedure has only been cleared by the FDA for treating cellulite on the thighs and buttocks. So yes you can get rid of cellulite. This is the Top Cellulite Treatment on the market today.

What causes cellulite?

Connective tissue called fibrous bands that cause cellulite dimples on the skin. These bands connect your skin to the tissue underneath. The fibrous bands can pull some skin in, causing the surrounding fat to bulge. This can create small depressions, or cellulite dimples, throughout the area. Before the procedure, Dr. Finger will ask you to stand.

What happens the day of your Cellfina Treatment?

Dr. Finger begins the procedures by using a marker to identify the cellulite dimples. Then, after administering the local anesthetic, a handheld device with a microblade is inserted under the skin.  Dr. Finger uses a guided technique and a fanning motion to help release the fibrous bands under the skin which causes the cellulite dimples to bounce back.

On average, it takes about one hour for every 25 dimples. Results in the treated areas may be seen in as little as three days and can last up to three years. Cellfina improved the appearance of cellulite in 98 percent of people for two or more years. There is no downtime except for the day of the procedure, soreness and bruising are to be expected and a garment should be worn for 14-21 days to achieve the best results.

*Results can last up to 3 years. Results vary from patient to patient and are not guaranteed. If you or someone you know is interested in this treatment, request your consultation with Dr. Finger online.
