Meet Our Doctors
Dr. E. Ronald Finger was born in Marion, South Carolina. His father was a general surgeon and following the Second World War, built his own hospital, which enabled Dr. Finger to begin assisting surgery at the age of 14. Dr. Finger graduated from Emory University and then from the Medical University of South Carolina. He completed his internship at Emory University and his general surgery residency at Tampa General Hospital, which is now the University of South Florida. He then entered the U.S. Air Force and completed an additional two years in a plastic surgery residency at Wilford Hall Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas. This was during the height of the Vietnam War, which gave Dr. Finger a great foundation from which to build new techniques in plastic surgery. He received an honorable discharge from the USAF in June of 1973 as a Lt. Colonel.
Dr. Finger began his practice in plastic surgery in Savannah, Georgia in 1973 and shortly there after built the first outpatient plastic surgery operative center in Savannah and in Georgia.
Dr. Finger became board certified as a plastic surgeon in 1973. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Society of Aesthetic Surgeons.

During his career, Dr. Finger has always been on the leading edge of technology and has a keen interest in health and skin rejuvenation. He formulated products for the New Youth Skin Treatment System, which utilizes topical creams and serums designed to treat the foundation of aging skin. His practice is oriented toward both surgical and non-surgical rejuvenation of skin.
Dr. Michael Huntly grew up in Dumfries, Scotland, the home of Robert Burns, Scotland's national poet. Dr. Huntly graduated from medical school in Birmingham, England in 1978. He completed his residency in General Surgery in 1984 and his fellowship in Plastic Surgery at UNC, Chapel Hill, North Carolina in 1986. He achieved board certification in both specialties and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. After residency he joined the Guthrie Clinic, a 250 multi-specialty physician clinic, in Sayre, Pennsylvania. He was the first plastic surgeon in the group and developed a thriving practice which encompassed all aspects of reconstructive and cosmetic plastic surgery. In addition to being Chief of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, he also taught medical students and residents in his capacity as Clinical Instructor, SUNY Medical School Syracuse, New York and Clinical Assistant Professor- Hahnemann Medical School, Philadelphia, PA.
After 12 years in Pennsylvania he relocated to the south, joining Finger & Associates in 1998 in Savannah, Georgia. He continues with a diverse cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery practice with particular interest in the latest techniques in facial cosmetic surgery, breast and body contouring surgery, including reconstruction following major weight loss and bariatric surgery. He also maintains an interest in hand surgery and cancer reconstruction.
Dr. Thomas W. Horn, M.D., a native of St. Augustine, Florida, graduated from the University of Florida College of Medicine and completed his residency in general surgery at the Medical College of Georgia. Dr. Horn completed his plastic surgery residency at the prestigious University of Miami / Jackson Memorial Hospital. While in Miami, he trained with national and international experts in the fields of cosmetic surgery, microsurgery, hand surgery, craniofacial surgery, and pediatric plastic surgery. He is certified by the American Board of Surgery.
Dr. Horn has published multiple journal articles, has lectured nationally on many of these topics, and is currently co-authoring a textbook for post-doctoral studies in plastic surgery.
