A New Look, A New Life

Facial Plastic Surgery in Savannah, Georgia. Facelift, Mid Facelift, Rhinoplasty, Laser Eyelid Surgery, Eyelid Plastic Surgery, Fat Transfers, Forehead Lift, Brow lift, and Other Cosmetic Treatments

Many women and men are not completely satisfied with one or more of their facial features. Fortunately, in the age of modern plastic surgery, there is no need to be dissatisfied. The highly skilled team at Finger & Associates uses the latest techniques and procedures to refine and perfect their patient’s features, giving them the self-assurance and satisfaction that go along with having the look they desire. Our clients come from throughout the state of Georgia, including Atlanta. We also have clients from Charleston and Hilton Head, South Carolina, Jacksonville, Florida, and beyond.

At Finger & Associates, we always strive for the "natural" look. This means rhinoplasty (nose jobs) don't appear "pinched" or turned up too much, facelifts don't look stretched or wind-tunneled, and eyelid surgery doesn't leave the patient with a surprised appearance.

Endoscopic Facelift Surgery

Endoscopic facelift surgery is a viable and often recommended alternative to traditional facelift surgery. The endoscopic facial surgery procedure begins with minute incisions in the hairline, through which a tiny camera is inserted. This camera is used to project the images on a video screen, allowing the procedure to be performed on a micro scale without sacrificing detail. Because endoscopic surgery is substantially less invasive than traditional face plastic surgery techniques, endoscopic facial surgery produces less scarring and requires a much shorter recovery period. This technique quickly gained acceptance in the world of face plastic surgery for its improved aesthetic results and patient-friendly approach.

Facelift Surgery, Mid Facelift & Facelift Cost

The effects of sun exposure, aging, stress, and weight fluctuations transform the facial appearance of our patients as they grow older. As creases and folds begin to form on the face, many patients seek cosmetic treatments that can make them look as young as they feel. Through facelift surgery, (called rhytidectomy or meloplasty), we have helped patients set back the clock a decade or more.

Dr. Finger pioneered the revolutionary mid-face lift procedure known as transmalar subperiosteal mid-face lift. This state-of-the-art method is less intrusive than traditional facelift surgery and achieves excellent results with minimal side effects. During the Mid-face lift procedure, surgeons at Finger & Associates use small, precise periosteal elevators inserted through a very small hole to elevate the deepest layer of the face. Elevating the foundation moves the volume of the face back into youthful positions, transforming the facial structure back into its youthful shape. In addition, this procedure eliminates the need to pull the skin tightly. The outcome is a more youthful appearance with little scarring or other revealing signs of surgery traditionally associated with facelift. Forehead Lift or Brow Lift

A forehead lift is a perfect way to eliminate the furrows, frown lines, or any other signs of aging or stress on the forehead and around the eyes. Even people with inherited imperfections, such as a low brow or lines across the nose, will find that a forehead lift can result in a more refreshed and alert look. This can be preformed with or without an endoscope. Either way, the process is minimally invasive and leaves virtually no visible scars. Forehead lift also elevates the skin of the upper eyelid. A forehead lift can be performed alone or with either a facelift and or eyelid lift.

Blepharoplasty, Eyelid Surgery, Eyelid Plastic Surgery, Eyelid Lift

Your eyes are often the first feature others notice when they meet you. Unfortunately, droopy eyelids and lower eyelid "bags" can add years to your entire face. Both upper and lower eyelid surgery, or blepharoplasty, can make an astonishing difference in the appearance of the face, alleviating the appearance of fatigue and reducing the signs of aging by eliminating the wrinkles or puffiness around the eyes. During the blepharoplasty surgery procedure, sometimes called eyelid lift, excess fat, muscle, and tissue are trimmed away, and the soft, delicate skin around the eyes is tightened to smooth away years of aging. Blepharoplasty is a traditional eyelid plastic surgery procedure consistently producing remarkable results. Lower lid “bags” can often be removed with a CO2 laser through an incision inside the lid.

Lip Enhancement – Lip Lift & The Valentine Commissure Lift

As we age, our lips get longer vertically and turn under. This causes our lips to get thinner and also the lips covers more of the teeth, which adds to the aged lip appearance. Often the patient’s problem can be solved with a Lip Lift. This requires a removal of a small strip of skin just under the nose, elevating the lip by the amount of tissue removed. Since the nose is narrower than the mouth, the Lip Lift elevates the central part of the lip only. In some people this causes the corners of the mouth to appear turned down. Unfortunately, lips usually turn down anyway, so the Lip Lift may add to this problem.

The Valentine Commissure Lift solves the latter problem by turning the oral commissure (the corner of the mouth) upward. A small triangle of tissue at each commissure is removed and edges of the excision site sutured together, turning the corners upward. This gives the patient a “happy mouth” and eliminates the appearance of being sad or the “down-in-the-mouth” look.

Often the Lip Lift is done simultaneously with the Commissure Lift. Both of these procedures are considered minor operations requiring only local anesthesia. The sutures are removed in five days and bruising and swelling are minimal.

For simple lip enlargement, we prefer to use fat injections or Restylane injections.

Rhinoplasty

One of the most common complaints in the world of plastic surgery involve the nose requiring a Rhinoplasty. Our surgeons at Finger & Associates can perform rhinoplasties to reduce or increase the size of the nose, to modify the shape of the tip or the bridge, to reduce or increase the width of the nostrils, or to correct the position of the nose. In addition to offering cosmetic benefits, rhinoplasty can also be performed to relieve breathing problems caused by narrow or partially obstructed nostrils or deviated septum. As with other plastic surgery procedures, the cost of a Rhinoplasty should be reviewed with plastic surgeons at Finger & Associates.

Fat Transfers & Fat Injections

Fat transfers and injections involve the removal of fat from one area and injecting it into another area. For anyone suffering from facial scars (often acne scar removal), smile lines, or other aesthetic imperfections, fat transfers or fat injections may provide an ideal solution. Fat injections are a safe and effective way to reduce facial wrinkles and depressions with minimal discomfort. Fat transfers are also an effective method of augmenting the size of the lips. Fat transfer injections are administered under local or general anesthesia and, unlike other chemicals or injectables, cannot cause allergic reactions because no foreign substance is present.

Permanent Make-Up

Permanent make-up cosmetics, also known as micro-pigmentation, are a wonderful way to enhance your natural glow and reduce the need for the time-consuming application of traditional make-up for lips, brows or eyeliner. The application of permanent make-up is nearly pain-free and, depending on the extent of the procedure, a relatively short process as well. Completely natural pigments are implanted into the dermal layer (second layer of skin) through a technique that has been specifically designed for this procedure. Permanent make up is perfect for anyone who is allergic to traditional cosmetics, has sparse or light eyebrows, has unsteady or arthritic hands, or simply wants to look naturally beautiful, all the time. It is also excellent for those who can no longer see well without glasses.
